The music sessions at Notes Covent Garden are going well indeed. They seem to function to both help create an atmosphere for people to meet and chat in a convivial space with great wine, food and coffee and also as a gig for people who want to watch and listen . . . a happy balance at present. The staff at Notes have been ultra-supportive and the musicians who have played there of the highest calibre and great people to hang out with: Maciek Pysz, Demi Garcia Sabat, Simon Roth, Shirley Smart … and soon Mike Outram, Alam Nathoo and others.
